Michael Tarrant, who double-majored in Political Science and Communication Studies, graduated in 2008. As a Henry Luce Scholar, he earned a one-year internship with the Office of University and Global Relations at the National University of Singapore. With three more Luce Scholars named in 2009 and a total of 30, Carolina has now pushed past Harvard for the greatest number of Luce Scholars named since the program began in 1974.
