Summer Transfer Program

The Summer Transfer Program: Transition & Thrive is an opportunity for 40 incoming transfer students at UNC-Chapel Hill to take between 4-7 credit hours within a supportive cohort environment prior to their first fall semester at UNC. The students will enroll in these courses during the 2017 Summer II Session, which runs from June 26-August 1, 2017. Students will have the opportunity to become familiar with campus, utilize the available resources, and develop a network with peers, professionals, and faculty that will assist them in their transition and success. Students who are interested in studying STEM will also have the opportunity to participate in a STEM boot camp designed to help them thrive in their transition to science-based courses and opportunities at the university.
