Explore Carolina

Trying to decide if Carolina is the right fit for you? Take a day to explore Carolina! Build your own itinerary from the provided agenda that will allow you to learn more about the academic offerings in your field of interest, hear from current students during Q&A panels, and meet representatives from various campus services such as Career Services and Study Abroad. Attendees will hear from current students and representatives from Student Health, Career Services, Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, Academic Support Services, and the Office of New Student and Parent Programs, to name a few. You’ll also enjoy lunch with your future classmates at Rams Head Dining Hall.

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. plus optional afternoon activities until 5 p.m. Lunch will be provided free of charge.

Location: The welcome session will take place in the George Watts Hill Alumni Center.  Please park in the Rams Head Parking Deck (N-15 on our campus map). You have access to a $5 all-day pass — just be sure to let the attendant know you are here for Explore Carolina. Please note that this pass payment is cash only. Otherwise, parking rates will be $1.50/hour.  The parking deck is located on Ridge Road just behind the Alumni Center.  Look for “Explore Carolina” signs that will point you to the welcome session.
