The
Office of Undergraduate Admissions welcomes prospective students
and their families for campus tours and
class visits.
Campus
Tours and Information Sessions
We
offer one-hour student-led walking tours each weekday year-round, with
the exception of a few University
holidays.
Following each tour, an admissions director leads a one-hour information
session. Tours leave from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
located at Jackson Hall, which is located on Country Club Road.
To ensure the best possible visit to campus, we strongly encourage your to reserve a place on a campus tour. To make a reservation, visit your
UNC homepage.

During your one-hour walking tour, a current student will lead you through campus, discussing student and academic life as well our rich 200-year history. Because of time constraints, our student-led tour does not include a residence hall or the southern end of campus, where many of the residential and student service buildings are located. We encourage you to allow time during your visit to tour other parts of campus on your own, and experience the vibrant residential atmosphere on the southern end of campus. Self-guided tour maps are available in Jackson Hall. These maps provide information about visiting a model room in Craige Residence Hall and also include a coupon for free lunch for prospective students at the award-winning Rams Head Dining Hall [offer is available 11:30am to 2:00pm; please note that Rams Head is only open during the school year].
