Pogue Scholarship

The Joseph E. and Grace Needham Pogue Scholarship has a proud history of supporting students who work for the cause of greater diversity and understanding at the University. Students selected for the program show extraordinary strengths in one or more areas and a commitment to diversity.

First-year students, applying Early Action

Program Includes:

• $10,000 scholarship for North Carolina residents, and tuition, fees, room and board for out-of-state students, renewable for four years of undergraduate study.
• Faculty mentoring and a cohort of fellow scholars.
• Opportunities to gather for social and intellectual activities throughout their time at Carolina.
