Available to:

First-year students, applying Early Action

Consider this opportunity if:

You’ve always wanted to lead a powerful global business or life-changing non-profit.

Through the Kenan-Flagler Business School’s expert faculty and world-class programs that combine challenging academic rigor and essential real-life learning experiences, students develop the leadership qualities required to envision, inspire and execute meaningful change.

program includes:

  • Guaranteed admission into the highly selective Undergraduate Business Major or Minor as early as the spring semester of their second year (provided the student maintains a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade-point average at Carolina and completes all business-major prerequisites with a C or better).
  • Participation in a number of academic and non-academic activities tailored specifically to advance their leadership, professional development, and career skills. Assured Enrollment students participate in a yearlong academic seminar providing leadership development, the opportunity to learn about the various dimensions of studying business, and the chance to explore career and professional development through the exploration of “the World of Work.”
  • The option of participating in numerous study abroad opportunities, including Global Immersion Electives, the GLOBE program (application required), semester study abroad programs, and summer study abroad programs. (A number of study abroad merit scholarships are available. In fact, all students who applied for study abroad merit scholarships in previous years were awarded scholarships with an average value of $2,000.)
  • The opportunity to interact with other extraordinary first-year students, current business students, program staff, top faculty, alumni, and corporate partners. Past experiences include: a team-based, real-world consulting project with a local non-profit, career panels with successful alumni and faculty across a range of disciplines, and interactive self-assessment and global awareness sessions led by our program staff.

First-year students who take advantage of this program are under no obligation to pursue the Undergraduate Business Program (major or minor). All of the knowledge gained through this program is transferable into any area.
