Test and Placement Credit including N.C. School of Science and Math

Carolina participates in the Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, A Level, and French Baccalaureate programs and awards credit based on the following schedules. These schedules are reviewed annually by the faculty and are subject to change without notice.

To be considered for credit and/or placement, students must ask the appropriate testing service to send us their official test results.

We also offer placement in foreign language, English, and mathematics based on other national tests, as well as credit for coursework at the N.C. School of Science and Math.

COVID-19 Update:  We understand that IB and A level exams have been cancelled due to COVID-19 and will be awarding course credit for predicted IB scores and A Level and AS Level grades, from Cambridge and other exam boards, awarded in Summer 2020 once they are received by our office later this summer.
