Are both first-year and transfer CIHS applicants guaranteed on-campus housing?

First-year students are required to live on campus and housing is guaranteed. CIHS junior transfer students are not required to live on campus and University housing is not guaranteed. However, we highly recommend that CIHS transfer students apply to live on campus their first year at Carolina. Please visit Carolina Housing for more details regarding living on campus.
