Can I have the English Proficiency Exam requirement waived for my application?
We do not waive this proficiency exam requirement based on grades in English courses or SAT/ACT scores. However, we may waive this requirement if you meet one of the following conditions by the time you would enroll at Carolina.
- You will have attended a school for at least four years where English is the primary language of instruction OR
- You will have lived for at least four years in a country where English is the primary language.
