Can I submit additional letters of recommendation?
We do require one letter of recommendation as you’re applying to Carolina as a first-year or transfer student. Some students may want to share an additional letter of recommendation to provide another perspective or additional information. We’re happy to receive an additional letter as part of your application. If the recommender is not able to submit their letter through the Common Application, they may email it to us at uncsubmit@admissions.unc.edu, being sure to include your name and date of birth so that we are able to match the letter with your application.
