No, applying as either a first-year or transfer student does not impact your financial aid eligibility. Students who submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and CSS Profile and are eligible for aid consideration will receive a financial aid offer for courses required to complete their degree. Students transferring from a CIHS program will receive a minimum of 60 transferable credit hours whether they apply as a first-year or transfer applicant.
