Is financial aid available if I take courses at Carolina in the summer?
Funding is available for summer, and in early April, we’ll know what types of aid will be available. If you submit your 2023-24 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and list UNC-Chapel Hill by May 15, and enroll in summer courses, you will automatically be considered for federal financial aid. Please note that if you have been offered a university scholarship, your award will not begin until the fall.
