How can I take summer courses and still attend orientation?
New Student and Family Programs offers several orientation dates before Summer Session II begins on June 25.
First-Year Students: Orientation attendance is required before taking summer classes. When orientation registration is open, please register for orientation sessions 1, 2, 4, or 5. If attending orientation before summer classes creates a hardship, contact New Student & Family Programs at newstudents@unc.edu.
Transfer students: While orientation attendance is required for all new transfer students, transfer students may take summer courses before or after attending an Orientation session.
