Military and Veterans
We’re honored to serve our military students.
We are excited to support you at every step of your journey. To start, you’ll find the application fee waived for any active-duty member of the U.S. Military. Beginning in fall 2024, we’ll also waive the application fee for any applicant who is a veteran. All members of the military and veterans will apply to Carolina as transfer students.
You’ll find a number of services available to you upon admission, with opportunities to help you make the most of your time at Carolina:
- Military Tuition Benefit
This program enables active-duty military to pay in-state tuition. - Yellow Ribbon Program
Carolina is honored to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which helps meet the gap in tuition and fees that exceed the cost of in-state tuition. - Veterans Resource Center
