What else should I do? Will an interview or additional letters of recommendation affect my chances of being admitted from the waiting list?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to interview our waiting list candidates nor do we encourage you to submit additional letters of recommendation. Should spaces become available, our review will focus primarily on your original application and on any additional grades you may submit.
To be considered for any spaces that may become available, you must indicate that you wish to accept a place on our waiting list in MyCarolina. As you wait for a final decision from us, it is important for you to select another college or university, notify that institution of your intent to enroll, and send that institution your enrollment deposit by its specified deadline if an enrollment deposit is required.
Please also ensure we have your most updated grades, which you can upload in MyCarolina. If your school year ends before we notify you of your final decision, please arrange to have your school send us your official final transcript. Beyond these updated and/or final grades, we do not recommend that you send additional materials.
