What if I believe my residency decision is wrong or will change before I enroll at Carolina? Can the residency decision be reconsidered or appealed?
We’re required to evaluate applications based on the residency determined by RDS. If you’ve applied Early Action but believe you’ll be qualified as an NC resident by March 1, you may request a change from early-action to regular decision if you believe you’ll be reclassified as an NC resident prior to the release of regular decisions at the end of March.
