A Global Impact

We spoke with five Carolina alumni in Beijing about what it means to be a global citizen.

Carolina students have accesses to hundreds of global opportunities, and the time that Carolina students spend abroad  continues to impact them after they graduate.

We visited with five Carolina graduates who help lead the Schwarzman Scholars program at Beijing’s Tsinghua University, designed to build a global community of future leaders who will serve to deepen understanding between China and the rest of the world.

I remember my grandpa always talking about how your education is not for you. It’s for the world, and you have something unique about you to contribute to the world.

Wyatt Burton, UNC ’11 and Schwarzman Scholars Associate Director of Admissions
