Meet the Suitemates
During their first year of college, their unexpected friendship made the good times better and the challenging times easier to overcome.
Derion, Philippe, James, Neil, and Jacob met online a few weeks before coming to Carolina. Since then, they’ve helped each other conquer a new town, excel in their new classes, and perfect the football tailgate experience.
They met up for dinners that turned into study sessions. They raced to eat the buffalo chicken dip made by Mom with love, and they knew that if they need to talk at 1 a.m., they’d find a suitemate ready to listen over a video game and pizza rolls.
If I described our suite in one word? I’d say family. Having this group of friends — they’re solid. They’re always there. I just know that I can go to them.
